Description
A refreshing fruit salsa paired with crunchy cinnamon chips, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and diced
- 1 cup kiwi, peeled and diced
- 1 cup pineapple, diced
- 1 cup mango, diced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
- 6 small flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
Instructions
- Start by preparing your fruit salsa. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, and mango.
- Drizzle the lime juice over the fruit mix. If you like a touch of sweetness, add honey or agave syrup and stir gently.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Coat each tortilla with melted butter on both sides.
- Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl, and sprinkle the mixture over one side of each tortilla.
- Cut the tortillas into triangles and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- Once baked, remove and let them cool slightly. Serve alongside the fruit salsa, garnished with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use corn tortillas instead of flour. For vegan options, substitute butter with coconut oil.
