This easy spiced peach bread combines sweet peaches and warm spices, making it a delightful treat for any occasion.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh peaches, diced (about 3–4 medium peaches)
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- Optional: 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing it and dusting lightly with flour.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil in another bowl. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Fold the diced peaches into the bowl. If using nuts or dried fruits, add them now.
- Combine the dry mixture with the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
Notes
Optional ingredients can be omitted or swapped based on dietary preferences. Loaf can be stored in an airtight container or frozen for later.
