Description
A refreshing and nutritious watermelon smoothie combining sweet watermelon with creamy Greek yogurt, strawberries, and fresh mint for the perfect summer beverage.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups fresh watermelon, cubed and seeded
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar
- 6–8 fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions
- 1. Cut watermelon into cubes, removing seeds, and add to blender first to create liquid base.
- 2. Add frozen strawberries, Greek yogurt, fresh lime juice, honey, and torn mint leaves to blender.
- 3. Top with ice cubes and blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth.
- 4. Check consistency and add more ice if too thin or a splash of water if too thick.
- 5. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately, garnished with mint leaves if desired.
Notes
Best consumed immediately but can be stored in refrigerator for up to 24 hours in airtight container. Freeze leftover smoothie in ice cube trays or popsicle molds for frozen treats. Use frozen watermelon cubes instead of fresh for thicker consistency without additional ice.
