Description

Soft, chewy pink cookies with real strawberry flavor, perfect for Valentine’s Day or any cozy celebration. Made with simple pantry ingredients and topped with strawberry glaze.


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 3 Tbsp freeze-dried strawberry powder or ¼ cup strawberry purée

  • Optional glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar + 2–3 Tbsp strawberry purée + 1–2 tsp milk


Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Beat in egg and vanilla.

  • Fold in strawberry powder or purée.

  • Combine dry ingredients; gradually mix into wet ingredients.

  • Chill dough 30 minutes.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Shape dough, place on parchment-lined sheet.

  • Bake 10–15 minutes. Cool on sheet, then transfer to wire rack.

  • Optional: mix glaze ingredients, drizzle or dip cooled cookies, allow to set.

Notes

Adjust strawberry intensity to taste. Chill dough well to prevent spreading. Store in airtight container up to 4 days.
