Description
Soft, chewy pink cookies with real strawberry flavor, perfect for Valentine’s Day or any cozy celebration. Made with simple pantry ingredients and topped with strawberry glaze.
Ingredients
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
3 Tbsp freeze-dried strawberry powder or ¼–⅓ cup strawberry purée
Optional glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar + 2–3 Tbsp strawberry purée + 1–2 tsp milk
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Fold in strawberry powder or purée.
Combine dry ingredients; gradually mix into wet ingredients.
Chill dough 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Shape dough, place on parchment-lined sheet.
Bake 10–15 minutes. Cool on sheet, then transfer to wire rack.
Optional: mix glaze ingredients, drizzle or dip cooled cookies, allow to set.
Notes
Adjust strawberry intensity to taste. Chill dough well to prevent spreading. Store in airtight container up to 4 days.
