A juicy, tender, and flavorful beef tenderloin topped with a creamy, cheesy Million Dollar Sauce. Perfect for special dinners, celebrations, or impressing guests with a restaurant-quality centerpiece at home.
Ingredients
2–3 lb center-cut beef tenderloin
2 tbsp olive oil
4 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp butter or ghee
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Fresh herbs: rosemary and thyme
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Trim and pat dry the tenderloin; season with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the tenderloin on all sides until golden brown.
Prepare the Million Dollar Sauce: melt butter, whisk in cream cheese and cheddar, stir in herbs and seasonings.
Place tenderloin in a roasting pan, pour sauce on top, and roast in the oven for 20–30 minutes for medium-rare.
Rest the tenderloin for 10–15 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Serve with roasted potatoes, steamed vegetables, or your favorite sides.
Notes
Let the beef come to room temperature before cooking for even cooking.
Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness: 130–135°F for medium-rare.
Reserve juices when slicing and drizzle over the meat to keep it juicy.
Customize the sauce with different cheeses or herbs for a unique twist.
Slice just before serving for optimal presentation and tenderness.
