Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 teaspoons matcha powder (ceremonial-grade preferred)

  • 1 cup milk or dairy-free milk (oat, almond, soy, etc.)

  • Ice cubes (for iced version)

  • Optional: whipped cream, extra strawberry slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Make the Matcha: Sift 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a small bowl. Add 2 ounces of hot water and whisk until frothy and smooth.

  • Make the Strawberry Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the strawberries and sugar with a splash of water. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until it becomes syrupy. Strain to remove pulp.

  • Assemble the Latte: In your serving glass, pour 1-2 tablespoons of the strawberry syrup. Add the matcha mixture and pour in your milk of choice.
