- 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 cups graham crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter and brown sugar. Spread on baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden. Let cool completely.
- 2. Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- 3. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, approximately 3-5 minutes.
- 4. Gently fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture using a spatula until well combined and no streaks remain.
- 5. In a 9×13 inch dish, spread half the cream mixture on the bottom.
- 6. Layer half the sliced strawberries over the cream, distributing evenly.
- 7. Sprinkle half the cooled crackle topping over strawberries.
- 8. Repeat layers with remaining cream mixture, strawberries, and crackle topping.
- 9. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
- 10. Serve chilled and enjoy within 2-3 days for best quality.
Notes
Store covered in refrigerator for up to 3 days. For best texture, add fresh crackle topping just before serving if making ahead. Can be assembled in individual parfait glasses for elegant presentation.
