Ingredients
2 packs of Korean ramen noodles
200g (7 oz) beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon sugar or honey
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
2 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
Grill the Beef:
Marinate the beef in 1 tablespoon soy sauce and sesame oil for 10 minutes.
Heat a grill or grill pan over high heat and cook the beef slices for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly charred. Set aside.
Cook the Noodles:
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Spicy Broth:
In a medium pot, combine the chicken broth, gochujang, garlic, and 1 tablespoon soy sauce.
Stir and bring to a simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
Make the Creamy Sauce:
In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream, sugar, and sesame oil. Simmer over medium-low heat for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
Assemble the Ramen:
In a large bowl, place the cooked noodles. Pour the spicy broth over the noodles, followed by the creamy sauce.
Top with grilled beef slices, sesame seeds, and green onions.
Serve & Enjoy:
