Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packs of Korean ramen noodles

  • 200g (7 oz) beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)

  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon sugar or honey

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Grill the Beef:

    • Marinate the beef in 1 tablespoon soy sauce and sesame oil for 10 minutes.

    • Heat a grill or grill pan over high heat and cook the beef slices for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly charred. Set aside.

  • Cook the Noodles:

    • In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • Prepare the Spicy Broth:

    • In a medium pot, combine the chicken broth, gochujang, garlic, and 1 tablespoon soy sauce.

    • Stir and bring to a simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

  • Make the Creamy Sauce:

    • In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream, sugar, and sesame oil. Simmer over medium-low heat for 3-4 minutes until thickened.

  • Assemble the Ramen:

    • In a large bowl, place the cooked noodles. Pour the spicy broth over the noodles, followed by the creamy sauce.

    • Top with grilled beef slices, sesame seeds, and green onions.
