Ingredients
1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough
8 oz turkey sausage, chicken sausage, or beef sausage (fully cooked and crumbled)
4 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Let cool slightly.
In a bowl, combine sausage and softened cream cheese until smooth.
Unroll the crescent dough on a flat surface. Press seams together to make one sheet.
Spread the sausage mixture evenly over the dough.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Roll the dough tightly into a log.
Slice into 1-inch thick pinwheels and place on baking sheet.
