Description

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

Optional: fresh lemon juice or zest for garnish

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.

Spread sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Roast for 20 minutes, then flip and sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the sprouts.

Roast for an additional 10–15 minutes until edges are golden and crispy.

Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and drizzle with lemon juice if desired. Serve warm.

Tips for the Best Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts:

Use fresh Brussels sprouts instead of frozen for better crisping.

Don’t overcrowd the pan; give sprouts space to roast evenly.

Add Parmesan in the last half of cooking to prevent burning.

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of smoked paprika or red pepper flakes.

Leftovers reheat well in a skillet or oven to maintain crispiness.
