Rich, fudgy brownie bars topped with a creamy cheesecake swirl, perfect for parties, holidays, or any cozy dessert craving. Easy to make with simple pantry ingredients.
Ingredients
Brownie Layer: ½ cup unsalted butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, ½ cup all-purpose flour, ¼ tsp salt
Cheesecake Swirl: 8 oz cream cheese (softened), ⅓ cup sugar, 1 large egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: Chocolate chips, Nutella, crushed Oreo cookies, peanut butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
Melt butter and mix with sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; stir to combine. Add cocoa, flour, and salt. Reserve ¼ cup for the swirl.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
Spread brownie batter in pan. Pour cheesecake layer on top. Add reserved brownie batter in dollops and swirl gently.
Bake 35–40 minutes until edges are set and center slightly jiggles. Cool completely, then refrigerate 2 hours.
Lift from pan, cut into 16 squares, and serve.
