Ingredients

  • ¼½ cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 12 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium heat.

  • Sprinkle a thin layer of feta in the skillet to form a “nest.”

  • Crack an egg into the center of the feta.

  • Cook 2–3 minutes for soft yolks; cover briefly if you want a firmer yolk.

  • Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately with toast, salad, or avocado.
