Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken

Tender chicken breasts are seared to golden perfection, then smothered in a rich, creamy garlic butter sauce. Ready in under 30 minutes, this dish is a comforting, flavorful dinner that pairs perfectly with rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  • Melt 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.

  • In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing to a gentle simmer.

  • Add Parmesan cheese and stir until sauce thickens.

  • Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce. Simmer 2–3 minutes.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Serve over creamy mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.

Add steamed vegetables for a complete meal.

For extra flavor, sprinkle a pinch of red pepper flakes in the sauce.
