Description
Mini apple pies with buttery crust and warm, spiced apple filling. Perfect for fall, holiday parties, or a simple sweet treat at home. Easy to make and beginner-friendly with pantry ingredients.
Ingredients
1 package pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
3–4 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and diced
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp allspice
1 tbsp flour
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp butter, melted
1 egg (optional, for egg wash)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out pie crust and cut circles slightly larger than muffin tin openings. Press into lightly greased muffin cups.
In a bowl, mix diced apples with sugar, spices, flour, lemon juice, and melted butter until evenly coated.
Spoon filling into crust-lined muffin cups, filling to the top.
Cover with top crust, lattice, or cut-out shapes. Seal edges gently and brush with egg wash if desired.
Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown and filling bubbles. Let cool 10 minutes before removing from tin.
Serve warm, at room temperature, or with a drizzle of glaze or a scoop of ice cream.
Notes
Store baked pies in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or 4–5 days in the fridge.
Pies can be frozen individually for up to 2–3 months; thaw in the fridge before reheating.
