Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast or thighs
1 ½ cups tomato sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella
½ cup grated parmesan
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, diced
2 tbsp olive oil
4 soft sandwich buns
Instructions
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil and sear chicken until golden brown.
Sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet.
Add tomato sauce and simmer 5–7 minutes.
Slice or shred chicken, return to pan, and stir to coat with sauce.
Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan over chicken, cover, and melt cheese for 2–3 minutes.
Toast buns and assemble sandwiches. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
