Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
¾ cup cold buttermilk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
Optional: ¼ tsp red pepper flakes or fresh herbs (chives, parsley)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Grease a baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
