Description

Creamy, cheesy, and savory, this Hissy Fit Dip is packed with sausage and perfect for parties, game day, or cozy family nights.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef, chicken, or turkey sausage

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños for heat


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Cook sausage in a skillet until browned; drain excess grease.

  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  • Fold in cooked sausage.

  • Transfer mixture to an oven-safe dish and sprinkle with shredded cheese.

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Optional: broil 1–2 minutes for a lightly browned top.

  • Serve hot with tortilla chips, crackers, bread, or veggies.

Notes

Can be made ahead; refrigerate overnight and bake just before serving. For a spicy kick, add jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
