Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade: chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt)

  • 8 hard or soft taco shells

  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack

  • ½ cup diced onions and bell peppers


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • In a skillet, cook the Ground Beef until browned. Add diced onions, bell peppers, and taco seasoning. Stir until well combined.

  • Arrange taco shells in a baking dish. Spoon the cooked filling into each shell.

  • Top each taco generously with shredded cheese.

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and slightly golden. Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.

  • Add optional toppings and serve hot with your favorite sides.

Pre-bake shells for extra crispiness.

For a vegetarian version, swap meat with beans or roasted vegetables.
