  • 4 cups cooked cut green beans (or 2 cans drained, or 1.5 lbs fresh blanched)

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

  • ½ cup whole milk or plant-based milk

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions (divided)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 1.5-quart dish.

  • Prepare green beans according to type.

  • Mix soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper, and beans. Stir in most of the fried onions.

  • Spread into dish and bake 25 minutes.

  • Add remaining onions and bake 5 more minutes.

  • Rest a few minutes before serving.
